*Really short quick review*
So I finished this a few days ago and decided to take some time to actually write a proper review, not let the fact that the series is over to waver my opinion.

Personally, I did like the book. It was a little dragged out in places but it was a good ending to the series. What needed to be addressed was in this book. It concluded the series in a way that left me not only wanting to keep reading, but left me knowing the characters that lived have a journey to carry on, that their excitement and adventures aren't over now that everything is finished.

What I didn't like was the jumpiness. It went from one place to another very quickly and there was so many characters POV. It was lacking details in certain areas and there was an overload of details in others.

Overall a good book, good read and a great conclusion to the series

Throne of Glass

Because I've recently just bought the paper back version  of The Assassin's Blade (below left) [here's the GR page and what not] I thought I'd recommend Sarah J. Maas's Throne of Glass series!

Book number three 'Heir of Fire' is being released in September of this year AND I CAN'T WAIT OMG INTERNALLY SCREECHING and I think it'll be heartbreaking good.

Throne of Glass is the first book in the series, followed by Crown of Midnight. The paper back version of The Assassin's Blade was released earlier this year (from what I know that's when I knew it was coming out).

I haven't started TAB yet but I know it's meant to be wonderfully amazing. The next two books (centre) are really f@*$%!& great and you should all read them.

I feel like these are hidden treasures. Not a lot of people have read them but the people who do usually always fall in love with them.

After serving out a year of hard labor in the salt mines of Endovier for her crimes, 18-year-old assassin Celaena Sardothien is dragged before the Crown Prince. Prince Dorian offers her her freedom on one condition: she must act as his champion in a competition to find a new royal assassin. Her opponents are men-thieves and assassins and warriors from across the empire, each sponsored by a member of the king's council. If she beats her opponents in a series of eliminations, she'll serve the kingdom for three years and then be granted her freedom. 

Celaena finds her training sessions with the captain of the guard, Westfall, challenging and exhilirating. But she's bored stiff by court life. Things get a little more interesting when the prince starts to show interest in her... but it's the gruff Captain Westfall who seems to understand her best. 

Then one of the other contestants turns up dead... quickly followed by another. 

Can Celaena figure out who the killer is before she becomes a victim? As the young assassin investigates, her search leads her to discover a greater destiny than she could possibly have imagined.
